We now know the cheapest Eee PC model on the planet. Yes, it’s this Asus Eee PC X101 and it’s going to sell for $199. Wow.

We just found out that this new mystery Eee PC model is in fact officially the Asus Eee PC X101. Yes, it’s super duper thin and that’s not all. It’s not running Android and it’s not running Chrome OS. It’s running MeeGo. So that means what exactly? Likely super cheap pricing on the Asus Eee PC X101, the newest member of the growing EeePC family. We have a full Asus Eee PC X101 review coming up as details and official images are released. Oh, not sure about MeeGo operating system?  MeeGo is a Linux based open source mobile operating system.
